The Young Audiences competition block is packed with hilarious characters and wonderful worlds including 14 animated shorts from 10 countries! This one is for kids and grownup kids. A monster at the pool, critters on islands, a spotless leopard, an epic video game, magic crayons, axolotl sailors, a skiddish bunny, green pennies, a monster in the closet, graffiti explosion, escape from math class, a cat slows down the world, musical witch, and a helpful bat.

Placing it on its island, it feels a surge of joy, but soon realizes how dull the island truly is compared to neighboring islands. Hero's Journey

Hero’s Journey reframes the common story structure of mythic adventures through the modern perspective of a role-playing video game. It also serves as an homage to some of our favorite childhood games such as Legend of Zelda, Dragon Quest, and Super Mario Bros. Featuring rising star Christopher Sean Cooper Jr. (Sweet Tooth) as the voice of the Gamer, and Wes Smith as the voice of the titular character, Hero’s Journey combines laughter and heartbreak into one action-packed adventure. |

Director - Luna González Rede Country - Mexico Time - 4:18 Kido is about a little girl who is stalked every night by a monster that comes out of her closet and makes her live in fear, she escapes the monster everytime, but the problem won't be solved until she decides to face her fear and go on an adventure into the world inside the closet to eliminate the monster. |
